Personally, I look at personality and intellect more than looks. I value someone whos honest and dependable above all else, I don't really have time to deal with someone whos going to toy with me.

I also like having someone that can hold up a decent conversation, but also knows how to have fun and isn't a complete bore. :)

Just be yourself and someone will like you for you, unless your mean to those around you then there might be a problem :)

Unfortunately, and you will find this out from most men, looks are the most important characterstic in girls that guys look for.

However, for me, it is not just looks. I am not far enough into my path of enlightenment to completely disregard looks, but the combination of looks, how nice that girl is, what that girl is into and how well she thinks also are liked by me. I'm not talking about book smarts, in fact book smarts in themself are meaningless. I am just talking about a girl's ability to think for herself, understand things, come up with some stuff on her own. Those are the best type of smarts anyone could have, in my opinion.

So yeah, it is looks, but it has to be sort of "authentic beauty". A girl that is hot, but doesn't look like every other hot girl out there. Her appearance has to be as unique as she is.
