Miracle on 34th street!! My father was in the hospital and I was sitting with him.(many years ago) He asked what we should watch. I said whatever he wanted was good. He found miracle on 34th street and said "this is good let's watch it." I had never seen it. We watched it together. He laughed and smiled and really enjoyed it. When it was over he said he was glad we could watch it together. I was too. I really enjoyed it. And we never got much alone time because there were 7 kids. After the movie he went to sleep smiling. I fell asleep in the chair by his bed feeling the same peacefulness and we were holding hands. As we slept like that ,he slipped into a coma. He died the next morning. I was still there with him. Now ,I would give anything if he could have lived , but since it seems it was his time, I am glad we shared that time. I Thank God he was feeling happy and peaceful. I bought the movie, but it is to precious to me to even open.
