I do. There music was more realistic and not all about shooting and killing people. I think and know that 2Pac, Biggie And Eazy E are the best there will ever be. No doubt about that. Just listen to there music from back in the day and the "new" music now and it dont compare!!!

The only old rappers I liked was 2 live Crew,-(I remember a couple of their songs from the 80's) along with whoever did a remix of Walk this Way-with Aerosmith;-I love the remix better than the original-it gave the chorus & song awesome melody (as of new rap, it all sucks-annoying to the max)

Im not a rap fan.

But i at least admire them 2pac and Dre for their originality.

Rap is now just a big mainstream trend.

Its supposed to be a Ghetto/underground/gangster movement, but youre not very ghetto when youre going around town in white suits and in a limo.. Haha..

Its much like the music i like. Punk Rock was supposed to be all anti-mainstream and now its a big joke ..

: )

i like them better than the rappers who are tryin to get just that #1 song and make it rap a plain taste by repeatedly rappin without idea or reason. But rappers who want to be hailed as a MC and express something like maybe kanye or lupe i like just the same.

Yep, except for biggie. Ice Cube & NWA should get an honorable mention too. Oh yea, and Eminem is as good as any of them.

Yes around 1988 was the golden age of rap. NWA, Public Enemy, EPMD, and lots more. Now maybe I'm old but I 'm not into it.

I agree. It seems artists today lack the lyrical skills as some of the early counterparts

Everyone! Lol, the one's now, have all right beats, but the significance of the actual rap sucks!
