I am a guy , 39 yo & my weight is OK for my height. All through my life , I was never in love with meat . However , lately , I've noticed that I hardly touch it. I eat a small portion of meat or chicken once every week or 10 days. I don't call myself vegetarian but I'm acting like one.

Is this healthy ?

you can't be a vegetarian if you occasionally eat meat. There's nothing wrong health wise if you choose not to eat it. There isn't anything you can get nutritionally from meat that you can't get from vegetables.

Yes just make sure you get some type of Iron supplement and a proteinu suplement because those tare two major compounds that you are not ingesting. Your muscles depend on meats to get the protein and the iron and that is also something your body needs.

As long as you are getting protein from other sources you should be fine. Talk to a nutritionist or doctor if you are concerned, that is usually the best answer. Vegetarians get away with it, so you can if you make sure your diet is balanced.

You body does need the nutrients from the meats, however if you are not a meat eater I would suggest a supplement to replace what your not getting from your diet. Go to a health food store and talk to someone who can give you something to get your body to where it needs to be.

yeah, veggie heads live forever suposedly, although I don't know how you can stay away from meat. If I go one day without meat I get very cranky!!! jk

Try using a protein shake to replace what you don't get from your diet, espically if you are trying to get into shape.
