Okay. So this is one my Grandmere would say when I was a kid. I picked it up from her and have used it so much that my kids (who grew up in California, mind you) use it too. The word is "whomperjawed." How to use in a sentence, you ask? Here you go:
Hey Billy-Bob, go fix your shirt: you got them buttons all whomperjawed.
Things that aren't right, are mismatched or downright awful could be whomperjawed.
