Agree. You can't force something that wasn't meant to be. Now that doesn't mean that you don't work hard for things that you want. But again, when it comes to relationships especially, I definitely agree. You can't make anyone love you and you can't force yourself to love someone you don't.

disagree. Nothing is meant to "be." Life is completely random with no supreme being controlling our destinies. Sometimes it isn't fixable or changeable, but that doesn't mean there was a consciousness about it determining it was going to happen.

No I don't agree.
If we take a philosophical approach to this statement and look beneath the surface, what do we find?
Complacency. What will be will be.
There are some things that none of us can do anything about eg natural disasters eg tsunami.
But there are other things. Things of man's creation. Things that are less than perfect and that we can do something about and should do something about.

i guess this can be looked at in two different ways..
what you think is meant to be will be
and
what is meant to be will be..
you could think that you want to be with a certain person but they dont or it just doesnt work out as badly as you want it to it will never meant to be.
soo disagree.
