A.) Find the angular speed in radians per second.
B.) Find the linear speed in of the saw teeth (in feet per second) as they contact the wood being cut.

d = 7.5 inches
r = 3.75 inches

(2400 revolutions/minute)(1 minute/60 seconds)(2pi radians/revolution)

angular speed = 80*pi rad/s

b) Linear speed

We know the formula....

s = r*theta

Taking the derivative of the above we get

v = r*(angular speed)

3.75 inches (1 foot/12 inches) 80*pi rad/s

25*pi ft/s
