its always been like that... the ducks are penalized alot but chris pronger isnt as much as he sould be... he has been a dirty player for as long as i can remember... its like assumed that pronger will get away with a couple slashing/hooking/cross checking penalties... theres really nothing anyone can do.
P.S. i am a sharks fan and i HATE the guy... no i "MEGA LOATHE" him. hes alway's been a thorn in our side.

Howdy Ya'll!
It's for the same reason Marty Brodeur can be standing all alone in his net, fall over and get a penalty on the opponents. It has happened at least twice against the Thrashers alone this year, and it's just because he's a 4-thousand-time All-Star. The better players get the advantage of the league through the refs so people will get to see more of them.

In my opinion that was completely unjustified. But the better team won in the end and Pronger will get what he has coming to him if and when we match up again with them this year in the playoffs. Keep your eye on the Canucks, they just might be our Stanley Cup holders this year.
All Pronger knows is cheap shots and how to buly other teams...

Pronger is 2nd in the league in PIMs by a D-men with 51 PIMs. I think he gets penalized a lot. Refs don't get every call right.

It's like the old days.If you can get away with it do it.Pie McKenzie was like that and when finally caught would look at the refs with a "Who,me?What did I do?" look.Instead of being a big guy like Pronger he was little and got away with alot. That's hockey!

I'm a Ducks fan
ok w/that said I think Prongs should've gone in the box too.
That was wrong of him. Bad form.
:P to Sharks ha! I like several teams but the Ducks are the closet to me and I've liked the team since 1994 when we got Rucchin ( yeah now I'm bummed)

Pretty sad when a team has to pull in the refs to help them win. Ducks were playing bad enough tonight it wasn't really necessary, but with the complete joke that is refs in Vancouver, it was apparently already decided before the game. Did they have bets on Vancouver tonight or something?

Indeed, that was a penalty - but any physical defensman is going to make that play. Don't worry though, the refs may have missed that one but have more than enough phantom calls against Anaheim to make up for it...
As far as Pronger goes, he gets away with far less than most defensemen. Most refs have a quick whistle when it comes to big Chris.

Players are taught to do things like that at the NHL level, I'm all for what Pronger did there. So is Steve Ludzik.

Yes, that was just nasty to retaliate for a goal like that. I guess the officials figured they had already called the Ducks for everything else, so they let that one go?!
