At home as it will be cheaper, and i can have cheaper and more popcorn - so my home will be a bit like a cinema itself, without having to go to the cinema. And i can have friends round for a party before or after watching a movie at home.

At home although I like going to the cinema every now and then. I saw Shrooms tonight at the cinema and it freaked me out so much more than if I'd watched it at home

At home, the cinema is always too crowded. At home I can also watch the movie more than once and I don't have to spend outrageous money on treats because the fridge is fully stocked.

Cinema because everything looks cool on a big screen. Even if there's twenty minutes of crappy ads to watch before the flim. And they do overdo the air conditioning. And those hot dogs smell disgusting. And there's always some little oik behind me spewing out a constant stream of inane garbage whilst kicking me in the kidneys.

It depends on the movie, if its the latest blockbuster I like to experience that with people around me in a sold out theater.
For everything else, I have a big plasma with an awesome surround sound system and would rather watch 'em at home.

Id rather be at home...too many people piss me off in public with the whole putting there feet on my seat and all and not knowing how to shut up when the movie has started waste of my money if i cant go in somewhere and watch a movie in peace...thats why id rather be at home

dont know why but i prefer the cinema experience. I know that at home, you can just kick back in a place you're most comfortable and all, but i actually like the experience of going to the movies, sitting in a cheap seat, surrounded by strangers, with a ginormous screen in front of me with surround sound. Its awesome.

I prefer to stay at home because I have a big screen TV - I can pause it if I need to pee, get something to drink or eat and I can make noise or talk if I want to. I can get as comfy as I want with pillows and pjs or cuddle with my man or my kids. However - if there is a movie I am just so excited to see and I want some movie theater popcorn I splurge and head on out to the theater :o) Fun question, thanks!

Some movies ARE better seen at the theater - but I enjoy them at home as well. Most of the time just out of sheer convenience - we watch at home. Yeah Netflix!
