We should change all ethnic mascots. Playing on any stereotype does nothing for the culture of the mascot's origin.

sore subject. i think they should let them be. here in illinois, we had chief illiniwa(sp). the university was forced to retire him as it was thought to be degrading to the tribes. b*llshit!! these characters were chosen for their strength and wisdom not so they could be made fun of. just wait, the indians and blackhawks will be next.
