My recipe calls for Dry wine, share some brands that are good tasting , and that are not too expensive

you are talking about cooking the wine with the turkey? I would go with sauvingon blanc, chardonnay or viognier for dry white wine. I would go with something like Fetzer Valley Oaks, KJ Vintner's Reserve. Something in the $10 - 15 range.

To drink I would go for a Riesling or a Johanissburg (spelling might be off on that) or even included in the recipe. For brands I would suggest Chateau Ste. Michelle or Beringer. Hogue isn't too bad if you can find it. If you like it a bit of a sweeter wine to drink with your dinner go for the Gewurztraminer by Fetzer or Beringer, it goes great with fish (fresh or salt water), poultry and crab/lobster.


*Edit might I add these are not dry. Go for a Sherry from a world foods type of market for this.
