I havent seen much coverage about this issue, so i dont know if im in the dark about this or I havent herd anything so far, but this is issue will play a factor when I decide who im going to vote for, Who will benifit me?

No Republican candidate will support it, and most of the Democrats aren't even sure that they will support gay marriage (and most are leaning toward only civil unions). There is no one up there on either stage foolish enough to say they support the rights of trangender individuals.

And when I say foolish, it is not to say that transgender people don't have rights. They do. But the vast majority of Americans would not allow them any; and one of the ways they intend to stop it is to make sure no one who reaches the presidency would support it. If any candidate said they supported transgender (transvestite, transsexual), they would lose all support and any election.

Giuliani is the only one I know who is extremely popular with transgenders, gays and lesbians. He once lived with a gay couple and he was able to gain better understanding of the issues affecting those groups. Whether those groups will vote for him is another question.

That's not really a hot button issue is it? The whole transgender voting block is just out there waiting to be courted.

Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich are the only two candidates who support the full spectrum of gay rights, so I'd say either of them is your best bet.

ron paul, he speaks up for equality for all he told bush not to pass an amendment banning gay people from getting married because it's not fair and everyone should be treated equally a fair and a balanced society

I doubt any of them really give a damn. Who in their right mind is going to cater to that small of a special interest group.

What rights do transgenders not have?. They can work, go to school ect. Why do transgenders think they need special treatment?.
