I'm literally on the broker end of thangs. I have two kids, ages 5.5 and 21.5 months old. I will probably be doing all of the shopping at Family Dollar(not the same as the Dollar Tree), so they have a lot of toys. Maybe $100 on each of them.

I spend around $200 on each of them. It is hard to keep it at that due to the fact I pick things up here and there starting in August. My 10 year old usually has a gun on the list and I don't ever count that in on the $200. My 4 year old usually has a big one also, i give them at least one big thing and then go for the normal, clothes they have been asking for or new bed sets and so forth. This year the plan was to go to the Great Wolf Lodge but that backfired due to my husbands illness.

I even have 7 and that i do no longer come to a call for an quantity to spend on each and each and each and each infant. I %. a million "larger" latest (greater beneficial intense priced) and then 2 mid priced delivers and then some thing are very small. the enormous latest might count on the age of the newborn as to how plenty it expenses. My 10 year previous could be 50$ and my 6 year previous could be 25$. yet on a similar time as my 10 year previous needs an IPOD like very final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days than her different 2 mid priced delivers have been given shortened in fee. i attempt to %. stuff up at storage sales and resale shops, subject concerns they arrive to a call for yet i'm waiting to get discounted that way i'm waiting to get greater beneficial. i might say with 7 toddlers I won't spend greater beneficial effective than 500$ yet i'm this variety of stunning purchase shopper if i cant get it on sale i can't purchase it.

I have two children and i always make sure they have the same amount of presents to open christmas morning. I spend any where from $400-$600. I try to spend the most on things they need rather than things they want. I try to get at least one thing they really want. Hope you holidays are MERRY!

I have four children 20, 18, 13 and 11 and I spend all I can on all of them. It's never much honey. If I had more I would spend more.

My kids are 13 & 16, this year it will be less but we will spend about 250 on each kid. Maybe less, we have them give us lists of what they want & we go through it & decide what they really should have. We have had surprise expenses show up just recently so this year will be a little bit tighter than some, but that is ok....we make every Christmas about family & fun, not about what everyone is getting :o)

Normally about 500.00 each, but this year about 150.00 each because we are going to Disney World for our Christmas present this year (in April though)...
Merry Christmas!

I wanted to add, spending 500.00 for each of my kids is entirely too much. One is 6 and one is 16. Two months after Christmas they couldn't even tell you what they got, and the reason for this is because they get so much throughout the year. I have cut back on buying them so much so maybe next year they might appreciate the gifts a little more. We shall see.

my daughter is almost 8 and my son is 6. I would prefer to spend $50 each on them. They have too many toys as it is.... plus they are the only grand kids and great grand kids on one side of the family so they get a lot of crap from them at Christmas. I'd rather have the relatives spend THEIR money on toys that are gonna be broken within a week, than spend my money on it. LOL

wow, I can't believe the amount these people are spending 1400 on one kid?? My son gets plenty throughout the year, and at Christmas usually gets about $200 worth of stuff. He's 12. This year he says he doesn't even know what he wants that's how much stuff he has...

I have 2 boys. Ages 10 and 7. I usually spend about $250 each on them. This year all I am getting them is a WII with some games though, because if I step on anymore legos or star wars figures I will scream...lol.
