I find Republicans comical period.
They speak out of both sides of their mouths or the religious right might say with "forked" tongues.

It was the only fault they could ever find with Clinton, so they keep hanging onto it like a rabid pit bull, as if that one little indiscretion is somehow worse than all of the horrific things Republicans have done since then (it obviously isn't).
To Amos and Madskier: Clinton didn't really commit perjury. That was blown out of proportion like the rest of it. If you read the transcripts, he didn't flatly lie; he just did his best to avoid telling the whole truth. He did everything but draw a picture to clarify that his definition of sex is intercourse, and by that definition he didn't have sex with Monica Lewinsky. Sure, it's evasive, but if the Republicans weren't such pompously self-righteous hypocrites, nobody would have pursued the matter in the first place. A lot of them have done worse things but haven't been raked over the coals like Clinton was. As I said before, they couldn't find a legitimate reason to attack his Presidency so they went after his personal life. That's just petty and childish.

I find it hilarious that any politician condemns another person for lack of morals. These are the most greedy, morally empty people on the planet. It is funny to see the ones that claim to be so religious and all about god, then see their actions seem to be so against everything I've ever been taught God stands for. Then you have the other side, that is fighting so hard for the poor and downtrodden, when it is their policies that keep them down. I guess you wouldn't want to lose your voting base. The hypocracy in politics today is nauseating. I cannot believe the requirements put into place by the two parties for someone to run for an office have not been thrown out as unconstitutional. In my state, a third party has to have 32X's as many signatures to run the either party. How is that a fair and democratic government?

I'm a big fan of irony, so yes.
It also cracks me up when they attack Barney Frank, who has come out of the closet and remained in office, in light of the Wide Stance some who can't seem to find the closet door take, not to mention proposition to male interns.
If it were not so painful, I'd laugh at those who attack Hillary as a "a socialist who will suspend the constitution" in light of the liberties taken with civil liberties in the past 6 or so years.
I about choked when I heard about the proposed sale of a port to Saudis not being any sort of conflict of interest or safety, given that most of the 9-11 hijackers were FROM Saudi Arabia.
How about no-bid contracts to Haliburton while predicting the fall of the free market if "democommies" take over? A regular smorgasboard of ironies.
Comical...well, startlingly illogical, breathtakingly hypocritical, and frighteningly single-minded in a multifaceted world.
As my mother used to say, you have to laugh.

I don't think anyone ever condemns Bill clinton. The guy is recognized as a friggin saint and tours around to sold out audiences making like 40-50 million bucks a year in appearance fees. I can't think of a former President with more earning power.

Why do you think that Republicans are so despised? Americans are tired of their lies, their smears, their fears, and their bearing false witness.
It was funny when they were making up things about the Clintons, or smearing war heroes, but no soldiers are dying in Iraq for Republican lies and it is no longer funny. Some of my friends are there and they don't think it is funny at all.

Yes, I also find it sad that so many people think these things are of utmost importance. There was a great segment about political priorities on the news recently. Check it out:
