If things go wrong and they go to the thuggish type of guys, they are probably just looking to play and knowing the thuggish types are less likely to want more than that from them.

I think midnight gave you an very accurate answer, take me for example. I had a thuggish boyfriend. I thought he was exciting, rugged, on the edge, even romantic towards me type guy, well with this I also went through hell with him on a regular basis, there was always some bs on the horizon daily...he stayed out late frequently, rarely felt he had to call to let me know he was ok, and I won't even begin to tell eerything else. Ok so now he's gone and I meet a really NICE guy, with lots of things going on for him, he has a real JOB!!! He has true goals in life, and he is well educated, calls me on a reg basis and we actually get to go out on very nice dates...well guess what? At first, I turned around and said he doesn't have enough umph for me, he's boring to me...lol quite silly right!!! I think some women including myself, just look at the short term happiness rather than just the life time happiness! I am still with the nice guy by the way...hopefully things will work out, I like him. So you hold out and I know your soul mate will come, and she will except you just for who you are and add to your qualities...best of blessings to you!!!

Because thuggish guys ask them out with confidence while the nice ones are trying to figure out if the girl want's to be bothered by them. If you like this person, and they are not involved, ask them out. If they are and are complaining, then tell them when they are ready to find a nice guy, give you a call. And then let them decide what they want to do.

Women don't "always" do anything, nor do men. Be careful about making generalizations, they're almost always inaccurate.
As for why some women do that, it's because the 'bad boys' tend to be more extroverted, agressive, and interesting (in general). BUT those guys get rejected too, they just tend to fuss about it less than the good guys.
And most people complain when their partner isn't doing as they desire or their relationship isn't up to their standards...regardless of what type of partner they have (there are almost always going to be issues).

I don't think I've ever gone for a thuggish type guy; I go for the sweet guys - please readjust your mentality about always/never.
Besides, if something's going wrong, it won't matter whether the guy is thuggish or sweet, women may still complain about it.

Ya know I'm the same boat myself and I cant find that sweet, genuine guy I want to be with. Seriously. I'm not attracted to bad boys and dont want one cause i've already got my hands full.
I think women are generally liked them because of the challenge and the thrill. They let this slobs walked over them and be a doormat... And the mistake they make IS trying to change them. It doenst worked that way.

Don't mean to burst your bubble there... BUT THUGS ARE THE BIGGEST TURNOFF FOR ME IN THE HISTORY OF TURNOFFS. IT IS SO UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every time they hit on me with their pajama shirts, tacky accessories, and size 50+ jeans, it makes me seriously queasy. And those grillz make me just wanna punch the damn metal impressions right onto the floor.
But what makes me more queasy are the girls who actually dig this. Most are self rihteous womanizers who think women are inferior anyways. Who the hell wants that? And the thug code of conduct requires you to bang 45+ girls in one month.
I'd rather date Quazimoto, Shrek or that big guy who played Jhon Coffee in Green Mile.

Because the thuggish guys are hot and fun and just that FUN and HOT...but once they hurt us because they play us we tend to go to the sweet guy because sweet guys are always there to support us.

Quit being a pu55y! You have bigger issues than girls going to the thugs. Women want to feel protected and a thug will kick your a55. Date a nerdy chick like you and be happy.
