If her brother is a good friend maybe see how he would feel about it first. Not that he should be the deciding factor, but out of respect.

Hmm....It depends all on how your friend will feel.
If you were to go out, and your friend was okay with it, but you ended up breaking up in the future, it is possible maybe things would be a little bitter. If you were wanting to avoid your friends sister, perhaps it could effect your friendship with your friend.
So, talk it over with your friend.

I disagree don't touch it with a ten foot pole there are many fish out there in the sea and the last thing you want is to loose a friend over a chick. anyway she may be nice with you because you are her brother's friend but may not want to go out with you because of the same reason . if there was a shortage of girls in the world I would agree but this one you should leave alone

It's ok, but you could be risking a possible life-long friendship if things don't work out with the sister. Is it worth the risk?

maybe- could be risky- go slowly- if you jump too fast you will look like an ijit -

ask to go for something simple/casual like an ice cream- or walk at the park/beach etc... maybe the three of you- your friend AND his sister- see if she likes you as much as you like her- otherwise you got nothin

good luck and tread lightly

the bigger the date the more pressure there is on both

Yes; after you have found out who she preferred better; ie. Father,Brother, and Uncles, adress her as Hon, Sis, and or Sweets.
Once she has completed serving her family, then she is ready for the outside population/s.

i think it is okay, but if you want to be nice and considerate i would at least let my friend know of my intentions. If it is a real friend, they would probably be cool w/ it...unless they know you and consider you "not worth their sister".

Yes but remember if she and you have a fight she is going to tell her brother and he will ALWAYS take her side ...... so do not mess up ... you then lose a friend and a girlfriend at once

I dated my friend's uncle (haha, I know). And as long as the family likes you and you're sure her parents wont flip or anything and your friend doesnt have a problem with it, I say go for it. Oh and of course, as long as she doesnt mind. :D Good luck.

My brothers friends always tried, but my brothers are very protective. They would tell their friends to back off. I would definately ask your friend how he would feel about it.
