Well, why are you going and who are you going with?
If he has a problem with you leaving town for the weekend, he isn't going to change. He will always have a problem with you leaving.

Just talk to him about uit.trust me. with some hot and heavy romance be 4 you leave you want have any trouble outta him. Becuz when you come back he'll just be hungray for you and last time i checked ain't nothing wrong with that.

Why is he upset that you're leaving? Does he think you're going to cheat on him? Is he going to miss you? Does he want to go with you?
Too bad for him, but don't cancel your trip just because he's mad. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Talk to him about it, find out why he's mad.

If they really cared about you being happy then they would let you go. I think you should go and enjoy yourself. If they don't want you to enjoy yourself that means they are not true to you.
