Mickey Tettleton had the wierdest stance. He kept his bat over the plate like he was gonna bunt and then he'd whack 30+ homers out by doing that.
Mo Vaughn had a funny one as well as Julio Franco and Eddie Murray. Cal Ripken towards the end of his career w/ that jerking motion he had was odd too. He had to cheat on fastballs at that time.

Why are some of you answering with guys who don't even play anymore? The question was not asked in the past tense, he wants players who play now.
Now, I would say the weirdest batting stance is Hunter Pence, his whole swing is awful, I don't know how the kid hits. Kevin Youkilis has a weird one, especially how he holds the bat above his head and barely uses his right hand.

Tony Batista. His upper body is in a closed stance yet his lower body is way open. As the ball approaches he steps into the pitch closing up his stance. It's very bizarre, you have to see it to get it. Don't know how he gets any hits at all.

Griffey has between the sweetest swings interior the history of baseball. yet another guy whos stance/attitude i presumed regarded good (yet wasnt helpful this twelve months) replaced into Robinson Cano. real tender and a candy swing, yet he wont look the same next twelve months, the Yanks hitting coach frolicked engaged on his attitude to make it less difficult and he ought to have a much greater helpful twelve months next twelve months.

All the choices are interesting, I vote for Jeff Bagwell and Tito Fuentes I don't know any two people who could bat like either of these guys.

Tony Batista, he starts with the most open stance I've ever seen and closes it up as the pitcher starts his delivery.
