My girlfriend has been reading too many magazines again. She says that everyone does it and that I am too much of a square. The problem is that the library we go to is REALLY quiet, and she is really LOUD. What should I do? On one hand I don't want her to get bored with me but on the other hand I don't want to be banned from the library or have an 80 year old librarian smile at me in that special kind of way every time I come in.

Not if one of you is a screamer. If you can do it quietly go for it. I'd have sex in a 99¢ store. The day will come when you'll look back at this and say I should of had sex in that library but I'm to old now. Then you die.

Hun there are plenty of ways to keep your gf from getting bored with you, but I don't think that the library is one of them! The main and most important reason being, the library is usually full of children. Sound as if she is somewhat of an exhibitionist and there is nothing wrong with that. It actually can be very stimulating! Try stopping an elevator between floors, go to a roadside park, both of you slip into a restroom at a convenient store... the places are countless! Just remember that if you get caught, there is a hefty fine involved and could be jail time too depending on where you live. Have fun but use your head! No pun intended! :")

I'm going to go against my better judgement and tell you that having sex in a library is hot.

The reason she wants it is probably the idea of "almost" getting caught, and having to be restrained in some sort (vocally in this instance).

In any case, do what you feel is right...and be thankful you have a gf that is open enough to talk to you about her fantasies.

No it is not acceptable to have sex in a library. Your girlfriend has read way to many books. If she is looking for excitement then find new places however public places with children is not the place and if she can't understand that then she should not be having sex to begin with.

Libraries are traditionally quiet. I cannot recommend sex in a library, it may get your library card revoked. 8-)

And what do you have against 80-year-old librarians? They are people too.

No. That's just wrong and roude to the people in the library. How would you feel if you walked into a library and were looking for a book and there were people having sex there. Plus there are kids around.

Hey. Of course it is not acceptable to do this, on any level!! and the shame if you were caught at it would stay with you forever!! There are many more exciting places you could do it and not have a complex about it afterwards. If your girl thinks you're square for wanting to behave properly.....DUMP HER and find someone else!!

I had my first sexual experience in a library. It is not, however acceptable. I did not have sex but if it helps some libraries have a sound room where you can listen to cd's without it bothering others, this may be a good place for you to have a little fun. Just a suggestion, Goodluck!

Hey, of course it is. I have worked in bookstores (and own one now) and have had sex in almost every possible place. The Arts section is pretty handy. Of course this has been when the store is closed. Just cover her mouth if she's a screamer. And the stereotype of the prim librarian is NOT true. I almost became a librarian and I have tats and piercings. We're not all prudes.

Ill admit I would be self conscious and feel uncomfortable doing it, but you should still go for it. Go to the library and scope out a place where you could be loud without anyone noticing. Good luck
