What would you do if your uncle, who you never said I love you too but really meant it, was killed by some guy in a truck he drove into your uncle on a motorcycle and then died and the guy only got a $150 ticket. And did I mention that it was 9 days after my birthday. This happened to my uncle in March the 30th. I had to go through that when I was 11. And no it wasn't my uncle's fault. They guy drove over the yellow/white line and hit him. I'm bringing this up because I was listening to When You're Gone by Avril Lavigne and I Miss You by Avril Lavigne and started to cry. What would you say to the guy that killed him?

I would tell him a few things that would hurt him....but it wouldnt bring your uncle back. Lets just hope that the guy has remorse and asks for forgiveness.*

Oh Katie, what exactly can you say honey...the guy may have only got a small fine, but just what happened, was it a genuine accident did the guy on the bike lose control. the bottom line is honey nothing you think about is goingto change the tragic accident......everytime something nasty happens, everyone says "if only i did this or if only i said that" the truth is Katie it doesn't really matter does it... your uncle knows you love him you can believe that for sure.....The worse thing about songs is they are written and composed for people to remember things.....and unfortunately we al suffer the thoughts of tragedies that happen when some songs are played and like you said it's the words that hurt.......it takes a long time to get over those kind of losses but I promise you, it will get easier to cope with...there are a lot of groups that you can speak to about bereavement issues and they help you to understand how to deal with the problems related to sudden deaths...Finally, don't forget the guy that caused the accident has to live with it for the rest of his life and he is never going to forget, that accident or stupidity, he took someones precious life away from a family and he is always going to be reminded of it........be happy and be lucky sweetheart...I'm sure your uncle would like to see that for you. Hope that's been of some help..take care o you ok.x

OMG! If that happened to me and I ever saw that person I WOULD KILL HIM!!! No I wouldn't just kill him I would torcher him. Cut off limb by limb listening to him scream and right before he dies form blood loss stab him to death. Then feel bad that I didnt cause him enough pain to make it fair!!!!!!
I am sorry for your loss that kind of stuff should never happen. That man should have been AT LEAST executed on the spot.
Those of you that think she should forgive him are stupid. You are only saying that because it didnt happen to you. My uncle died too because of his wife. All she did was move on to prey on a new victim. I miss my uncle even though I didnt know him that well. That is all her fault. She didnt let him visit us and its her fault hes dead. So I atleast know what it feels like. I want to kill her. But no one knows where she is. Once again I am sorry for what happened.

Where the heck do you live!? $150 ticket! That's crazy! He should have gone to jail for that! People go to jail for less!

Personally I'd never want to see or talk to this person because nothing good would ever come out of my mouth. Family is family - I doubt I could ever truly forgive a person for something like that!

katie, you have to learn to let him go. the sad fact of life is, that accidents can and do happen. i can definitely agree with your anger, in that the driver got off way too easily. i would think our justice system would have been better than that. but it was probably an honest mistake. i'm sure he feels terrible about the whole thing and would give just about anything to go back and fix his mistake. imagine how he must feel too. i am sorry for your loss, and i hope everything gets better for you and your family. just remember, knowing he is rotting behind bars is not going to bring your uncle back or make you feel any better. you have to learn to let him go. take care.

I would say fu*k you, bastard. o yes and you know what I had to deal with? my mom had cervical cancer when I was 8 and died from it when I was 10 and now I'm 14 in my first year of high school and it sucks so much and I'm assuming you don't live with your uncle. my greatest sympathies, but there are worse situations out there and you should be happy it wasn't your mom or dad. sorry i had a bad day.

Dear Katie
God helps and saves you, your uncle moved to another life in which there is no more death, he is in the heaven now with God and for the guy I have only one simple question,is it so difficult for you to follow the traffic rules or you feel satisfy when you make people lose their souls?
with my great respect Katie

sorry this is awful, you must feel angry very hurt, 150dollar ticket for that, he should be serving time, in JAIL i would write your story, get a petition up, send it to a district attorny office and see if you can change the law, to get a stiffer sentence for people like this man who did this to your uncle, hope your heart soon heals after your awful loss.

1- id say: YOU BA$74RD...not really...i probably wouldn't say anything to that guy..i would treat him like i didn't even see him when i walked by..and give him really disappointing looks.

2- avril lavigne is a miscreant who deserves to rot beneath the earth even before she is truely dead.
she doesn't even write her own songs..
