In Canada our Government is deciding on this today.. b/c of the deterioration of the Greenback our corporates are in big trouble. That exchange meant an extra 15-30% profit exporting to the U.S., and the ability to disguise price guaging in the domestic market apparently..

How does this relate? If the government intervenes on behalf of the corporates, it is people/citizens who will suffer from the price gauging antics of these firms and lose the option of buying fairly priced goods in the U.S market. So, who does the government help? The people! This is capitalism, let the self interest driven corporations look after themselves.

One of the great travesties of our time is the granting of fictitious entities (like corporations) the same rights as human beings.

Corporations are nothing more than contractual constructs with no purpose other than to generate proffit for thier stockholders. There is no possible justification for a corporation to have any rights other than the collective property rights of it's stockholders.

Corporations are the people. Not giving the people the right to form corporations isn't being pro-people, it's pro-socialism. By taking away the right to buy and sell (as in communism), it is taking rights away from the people for self-determination. The only way to ban corporations is to transfer rights away from the people and to the government.
