You need 2.5 moles of Al for an experiment. How many atoms of Al is this?

you need to use avagadro's numer. 6.022x10^23=1 atoms.

just multiply 2.5 by 6.022x10^23

2.5 moles Al multiple 6.02 times 10(23)= 1.1 times 10(24) atom Al

2.5 moles Al x (6.022 x 10 to 23 atoms/1mol)

1 mol of any substance = 6.022 x 10 to 23 particals. This is Avogadro's Number
