Whenever I hear people use terms like Neo-con or liberal it just strikes me as childish, simple minded, and hysterical.

I'm a member of the NRA.
I despise George Bush even though I voted for him twice.
I don't believe Hillary Clinton will change anything.
I don't want your religion in the schools or in the government.
I think Chavez should be removed and Cuba should be turned into a kick-*** vacation destination once Fidel finally dies.

I've read books by O'reilly, Obama, Coulter, and Franken.

Why is it that so many people see the world as black and white?

It's even more childish when people try to make up words like Lieberal or Ridiculican.

I'm not a member of the NRA, but support it.
I despise George Bush and never voted for him.
I despise Hillary Clinton even more.
I don't want religion in schools or in the Government either.
What Mexico and Cuba does is their problem.

I don't waste my time with Coulter and Franken.

It's definitely not just you.

It isn't all black-and-white to all of us. Some of us are somewhat closer to the middle-of-the-road than the extremes. But we tend to hide in the closet, since, as Margaret Thatcher had said, people who stand in the middle of the road often get knocked down by the traffic coming from both directions.

Most people don't see things in black and white. It's just a very strange phenomenon here on Y!A.
I think conservative media outlets exploit the mistakes and failings of the left, so conservatives are very aware of liberal imperfection, yet those media outlets are hush hush on conservative failings. It's the reverse for liberal media outlets, ranting about liberal righteousness and conservative mistakes and failings. Consequently, liberals who only observe liberal media are aware of conservative faults, but not liberal faults and people who follow Limbaugh think liberals are evil and don't know about conservative sins.
So a minority are polarized, but not most.

I agree. A lot of people are just simpletons that only see the world in black and white. They need to realize there is no black and white, just really dark gray and really light gray.

Most people are somewhere in the middle, but the extremes of either party get most of the publicity.

I hate your name on here. That's disgusting and needlessly cruel.

Unsophisticated people see the world as black and white. Sophisticated people know there are many shades in between.

KNOWING right and wrong has been placed on all our hearts. ignoring facts won't change them.

that being said, the world is as black and white as we'd like to see it.
