If there is, I hope I die before I see it.

haha.. furiousblue, I realized after I posted this it didn't necessarily make sense. I meant to ask, is there an age that you reach in your own life where nobody really impresses or excites you anymore?

That depend on individuals. You can seed that some people at the age of 50 upward they will start loosing interest in many things. To these type of people nothing in this world impress them even food while some even 90,it is the beginning.

I don't know if no one excites or impresses me but I think my level of excitement or the degree to which I am impressed has become much less than in my youth. I would estimate the change to have commenced while I was in my thirties.

I'm gonna say early 30's, for the no longer impress section
And hopefully never for the excite category.

I think that as long as you still find human life wonderous, you will still find ways in which people will excite and/or impress...

I think the WAYS that we are excited/impressed do change over time....

I don't get what you mean. Are you talking about MY age or the age of the people who no longer excite or impress me?
Well... either way, I'm going to have to say no. Chronological age of others seems to play little or no part in my reaction to them. And since you routinely excite and impress me, clearly my age isn't a factor in that either!

You are maturing and knowing what you are looking for in a friend. It seems as if people who are shallow and superficial are transparent to you and that's a good thing.

I'm always impressed by older people who have great, colorful attitiudes and have great stories to share...

No, but as I get older, fewer people impress/excite me, but those that do, impress and excite the hell out of me.
