Absolutely not! If you look in the context of that particular movie, the nobles go to war, make deals, get more land and money, then leave. The nobles are corrupt, which is why Wallace kills them later (mace in the bed??? ooh yes). The noblemen whine because they risk their wealth and lands, but the common man risks his LIFE! They care little about losing their homes... They want their freedom! They don't fight for their castles, they fight for the rights and their freedoms!

Just a movie my friend. BTW - Wallace was the son of a minor nobleman/landowner himself, but as someone else was saying Randall Wallace (not William Wallace) was just saying that we are all equal. This is something we pride ourselves on in Scotland. I don't think Scotland is as class based a society as England is.

NO! they are both humans and will die! the same death. the noble think they worth more because they've been granted land by the Enlish king! and don't relize they have no rights at all... another words they are CHICKSHITE people that only take and don't return!!!
