Bushie and his pals in Iraq have never known an accountable moment in their lives. We should get out of theirs and every other dung heap (including Israel) in the mid-east. Don't accuse me of being bigoted--I'm as Jewish as Moses. But there are more important things than our religion or our nationality. I'd place those at the very bottom of my priorities.

Even me know answer question ask you is 0.
How many benchmarks have the USA met since the so-called Civil War aka the War Between the States?
Smell the coffee and wake up.
We have Republicans and Democrats and a host of other political parties whose voices mean virtually NOTHING.
We have Red and Blue states and wonder why we have "Bloods(Red)" and "Crips(Blue)" gang bangers. lol
We have more and more INDIVIDUALS IN GOVERNMENT crying for "STATES RIGHTS"...sounds a bit like feudalism to me.
We still have racism and other forms of negative prejudice.
We still have intimidation at the polls and other forms of voter fraud to prevent many from voting.
We are quite noisily becoming a dictatorial monarchistic police state that only a smattering seem to realize.
Giuliani has already been "knighted". Don't let him become king.
Because of the aforementioned reasons and BECAUSE HE IS A SO-CALLED BLACK MAN, he will NOT become President of the USA neither will he be considered or become vice president.
Obama...save your money.
If the USA must be a monarchy...
WE'RE BETTER OFF WITH A QUEEN.
VOTE HILLARY IN 'O8.

Those benchmarks were put together by a panel that was politically motivated and had no idea of the situation in Iraq. Yah, we should judge success and failure on just 18 things written on a report. That's a way to win a war.

right and the congress we have that spends time drafting letters to condem free speech is a congress that acts and runs america. Or the congress that has the lowest rating in history, yeah hell of a job.
What should he be held accountable for:
sticking to the UN resolution with Iraq?
not having an attack on US soil since 9/11?
tax cuts?
improving welfare and life of americans?
improving the job market?
thats right, bush lied and made congress vote in favor of going to war, I forget sometimes.

From the reports I saw -- some govt offices gave them partial progress on 3 out of 18 -- some gave them partial progress on 8 out of 18 -- but they have so far achieved (completely) zero of the benchmarks set at the beginning of the year -- the ones that were supposed to be completed months ago.

same as the number of appropriations bills passed by Congress. None.
Now, if you believe that arbitrary benchmarks can be equitably assigned for something that has never been done before [unlike passing appropriations bills], fell free to unplug from the local electric power grid and turn on your home fusion plant instead.
