Due to our inherited imperfection, we totter between the two. I lean more towards humility and pray for Jehovah's help, but then at times I can be ugly.......not bragging by any means, just trying to be honest.

I am humble :) and not just in a religious sense. But there are times where I am very arrogant. But I think that by admitting that I can be haughty, I am more so humble.

I would like to think I am humble. This may be my life but my life isn't for me to decide where to place my steps each day. My life is for me to do Jehovah God's Will and that means to tell the world about the Good News of His Kingdom. My time will come later when this earth is back to the way He wanted it in the first place, without Satan's interference.

Is there no middle ground ? Why label a person "humble or haughty". There are times and situations to be either and times that we are neither. The question is too black and white to give a fair reply. Why not...are you stingy or generous.?...kind or mean..?.. helpful or self-centered...?....etc., etc. The question cannot be fairly answered.
