The race card is ALWAYS used. Look at Michael Vic. OJ Simpson. And any other minority that was found guilty of a crime. Because they're black? Or because they broke the law? Just once I wish I could use being white as an excuse for doing bad things.

Funny story (but not really)........years ago I worked for a company in Cerritos California. One Friday I walked through the warehouse like I usually did and all of the warehouse workers had "Brown Pride" shirts on. As you already figured out, they were Latinos. So in a sales meeting I asked my boss if it would be okay for me to wear a "white pride" shirt to work. He said "Only if you want people thinking you're a racist." So I guess it's okay for Mexicans to wear "Brown Pride" shirts, but your a racist if you're white and want to wear a "white pride" shirt. Go figure!

Racism is derived from ignorance.
Ignorance always results in the lack of logical argument, and likewise, the race card is consistently played. It's quite a shame.

The sad thing is that its overuse by those who claim it (e.g. Johnny Cochrane against Mark Furman) cheapens it for those who might actually have a legitimate claim to use it.

While people often use the "race card" to hide from ridicule or prosecution, it is not overused.

In my opinion, it's way over used! That way people don't have to deal with finding the real cause of an injustice.

I think we shouldn't use the racist card or any card for that matter. We should continually hold the American people to lower standards. That will help us as a nation to mature, right?!?

When you live in a diverse society everything is influenced by race.

Many of the Immigration decisions are based on race.

Race is a huge part of Politics.

Until we are all blended into one race, then race will always be an issue.

Very much so. If it wasn't, you wouldn't know who Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson were.
