The don't. No one believes Iran's motives are pure.
Dissent, questioning the motives and actions of the government, making your voice heard is the very essence of American freedom and is enshrined in the constitution. Why can't Conservatives ever grasp that?

What leads you think there is any true in your statement. The motives of the top office in our nation have shown very questionable and I do not give Iran the benefit of the doubt either. I am just not ready to try that old shock and awe trick on them that has shown not to work.

Are the motives of any government pure? Government needs to be tightly controlled and strict limits set. This is what our founding fathers believed and this is what they did, only now those limits have been exceeded and the controls ignored.

I don't know any Liberals or Democrats who believe that. They do point out that it is right to question what we are being asked to believe by local politicians as well as Iranian leaders. Not just one skewed view of the world.
PS If Putin has now become less trusting of American policies, who can we blame for that?!?

I don't believe any nation's motives are completely pure. But I also don't believe we should bomb now, ask questions later.

Iran is like a country ran by the Islamic versions of the James Dobsons and Pat Robertsons of America. They are much, much, more dangerous than the greed driven corporate ran government in America.
neither are pure.

Please stop lumping everyone together, which leads to stereotyping. You need to insert the word "some" before the word "liberals". I certainly do not believe Iran's motives are pure.

They don't. You're under the impression that liberals praise Iran, even though the president of Columbia University had a few choice words for Mahmoud in person...
Cons don't even believe in talking to "THE ENEMY"(R). They believe in bombing them. To cons, negotiation is ridiculous. It's better to kill them and start a large war.

that shows you exactly how poorly they think things through.
Yesterday Russia's Putin visited Iran, which is obviously a sign of support, which, in effect tells the world that it is stepping in between Iran and the US.
Putin is financing the Iranian nuclear plants, which in effect is telling the world that he is anti-American, plain and simple.
