human sacrifice - cannibalism - respecting and honoring ones ancestors - discipline of students in schools - honoring and respecting the military, police, firefighters & others in authority - not using illegal drugs - going to church every Sunday - working for what one wants - staying off welfare - having a one income family -- are a few I can think of off the top of my head.

I am 134 years old and have been married for what seems like forever. Marriage is the tradition that has changed most in my lifetime. People live together, and if they get married, divorce is a few years away.
