Don't ya just love questions which have the potential to change the course of humanity for untold eons to come? ;)
Seriously, though, if it's a small, personal-sized (snack) bag, and no one is going to "jones" some from me, then I'll eat them out of the bag. If it's a larger bag, and someone might share it (i.e., I'm at someone's Superbowl party), then I'll shake them out of the bag and put them in my hands (I just wish everyone else would do that!). But, if I'm alone and, say, watching something engrossing on the tube, and don't want to deal with having to reach for the bag and finding the openning and making sure I don't dump the chips on the floor, then I'll put them in a bowl or plate, first!

If I'm eating My Chips Alone I Eat It Right Outta The Bag-But With A Group Of People I Put It In A Bowl And Sometimes I Might Just Grab A Bowl For Me And My Darling.

I like to eat my potato Chips right out of the bag!!!

I eat them out of the bag, too much work to get a bowl and then having to clean it...and that way, I can eat however much or little I want and nothing will go to waste

right out of tha bag that way I can be lazy when I watch tv and also I won't have to wash another bowl cause then I'd have to use water and I don't want to take it away from the ocean animals so I'm doing it for a good cause! lol
