I've seen a lot of famous people, but the most famous person I've met is David Copperfield. He made me disappear :)

Paul McCartney. Back in the eighties he used to get a train down from Charing Cross into Kent quite regularly. My boss and I shared a compartment with him one afternoon.
It was quite funny because there were two girls out in the corridor arguing about which one should ask him for his autograph. After about 5 minutes of this he looked over at us and winked then called out to them...for christs sake if you want an autograph just ask!
They came in and he called them silly buggers while he signed. He seemed like a really nice bloke.
