The Curious incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. as far as I'm concerned its really insightful into the life of someone with learning difficulties, the trials and tribulations that they may go through and the perception on the world that the have.

its my fave because it flits between past and present but it isnt confusing, also its based a lot on children. its very scary but also heart warming aswell lol. its got 1117 pages tho so it is quite long but its definatley worth picking up and having a look at.

I have been asked this question hundreds of times because i am a compulsive reader. I even read the back of cereal boxes.
I always give the same answer which is;
"Whichever book i happen to be reading at the moment."

Bram Stoker's Dracula- I think it was so clever that he was able to tell a whole story using just diary entries, that actually made sense and didn't leave any holes in the story. And that he actually used a historical figure to base his main character on. I love this book!

"Far from the Madding Crowd" by Thomas Hardy..... I love the way Hardy takes me back in time by his brilliant descriptive writing. On a more modern note, "Man and Boy" by Tony Parsons... great to read a book by a male author who understands women's minds so well!
