heaven and hell are put into text to keep people from running a muck and to have the ability to have a stable civilization without the fear of barbaric practices. anyways, im gonna go with no and theres nothing after death, but ive been wrong before. however as far as religion goes, christianity has only been around 2000 years and has been altered to convience more times than ive probably eaten in my life so just do what ever makes life easier to live without screwing up others.

Heaven is serenity, when you can live with what you have done and stood for.
Hell is when you cannot live with the torment and torture you have put yourself and others through.
We shouldn't worry about hell in the afterlife because we aren't there yet, but we do have to worry about keeping the serenity we have today and make sure we do what we can to keep from turning our lives into a living hell...
If I keep myself serene today and tomorrow keep myself serine so on and so fourth, I can be serine forever that same way... Then there will be no hell to look out for...

Of course. I was sent there for about 5 seconds one night in a dream. It was completely dark, but I could still hear the creepiest things and my body hurt. Like my fingernails were being bent and my entire skin was being stretched. When I woke up, my life took on a radical change and frankly, things are looking so much better right now.
On the good side of things. Having a God in heaven that you can talk to and ask peace and protection from is sooooo satisfying. Get involved in a youth group at a Pentacostal, Baptist, or Lutheran church.

This is not a question to ask on the net and expect to get an answer to. Every one has their own belief, some say that we live Hell every day others say that it is Heaven. Alot of people believe that we will be judged and will be assigned our place. Many people believe that as long as we ask forgiveness and give ourselves over to "Christ" we will be admitted to heaven.
This is the sort of thing that you have to find the answer to within yourself.

Well heaven is a nice story book type of idea.... and hell in my opinion is ridiculous. I mean seriously, where is it? The lava core in the earth? I personally think volcanoes spewing "lakes/rivers of fire" of lava, and are big openings far down deep into the earth "underworld", were the inspirations for "hell."

I'm not sure if heaven or hell exist, but i think your life is only a part of your whole travel.
so don't you be afriad, you're just stepping into another stage when you die.

Heaven exist! This is God's dwelling place. Hell does not exist. Hell is a mistranslation of the Hebrew and Greek words Sheol and Hades respectively. The exact translation of these two words is GRAVE.

No. Hell was made up to scare people into religion; heaven was made up as a promise that nobody could ever be accused of breaking (you know, with you being dead and all).

Nobody has ever provided any evidence that any gods, much less a specific god, exist. People believe in specific gods because of indoctrination from an early age, tradition, hallucinations, fear of torture (for gods sadistic enough to threaten it) and other similarly illogical reasons. But no gods exist in reality; these are all stories, created for people who were scared of the world long before we understood it. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

You are going to be ok, I can tell that you have a soft heart and will believe in God. All I can say is follow the bible. New King James Version. Stay away from mormons and Jehovah Witnesses and Catholics. They like to say they are Christains but they make their own rules. Just talk to God now. Ask Him to lead you to Him. Ask Him to open up your eyes. He will show Himself if you are willing to see. and yes, heaven and hell do exist, even though people dont like the thought. But God will give you time if you are going to discover His love. God bless.

What superstition do you subscribe to? One that has you living in fear of death? Dude, time to re-think that sort of stuff, don't you think? My goodness, you're only 14 and already wondering/worrying about the hereafter?! What about now, today? Live in the moment, and plan for the future -- a viable future, that is, and not the end of your life.
