I am a Republican and you clearly know nothing about most Republicans. I am more than willing to vote and have voted Democrat on the few occasions they run a viable candidate..........

So apparently according to your vast intellect, Republicans are racist and immature.
When the reality is more people over 30 are Right-Wing and more under 30 are Left-Wing. Which based strictly on population statistics refutes the immaturity claim.
The Republican party was formed to oppose the Democrats essentially repealing anti-slavery laws. The first Black Senator was a Republican. A republican President, Eisenhower, brought forth the most sweeping Civil Rights act of any administration. Racism comes in many forms and is by no means strictly relugated to the GOP. No matter what your small mind believes.
I'm a Conservative. I don't represent a party, nor the non-commital Independent status. I most identify with the Libertarians (but of course you only recognize two political parties so apparently that doesn't count). Mostly I am anti Socialist, Marxist, Communist, Leftist.

Funny you should ask... I would not say I'm a Republican or Demoncrat. I just find that I vote for the Republican more often.
The other day though, someone from the Republican Party called me up to solicite money. I told them. "When I can go back to a voting booth and not hold my nose as I check the name, I'll start sending mondey again"...
I think I"m leaning more Libertarian in my older age..

I don't care much for politics, to be honest. Most of those people are scumbags. I don't identifiy with a single party. I'd say I am about 60% Democrat and 40% Rebublican. So I guess I identifiy with democrats more but again, I can't put myself into a single catagory. Really I'd call myself Independent but when was the last time they won something?

Up until a year ago, I was a lifetime Democrat, but because of their stand on illegal immigration, I am now, as you are, an Independant. I will vote for the person that will put a stop to this illegal invasion and punish the people who are hiring them. As for the illegals that have been here for years, and have not stolen someones identity, not commited any crimes other than entering illegally, that have children and grandchildren here, they need to be able to become legal, after they get to the back of the line behind those people who want to come here legally.

ROFL.
You claim that you are independent, but then you slam the republicans with such a harsh stereotype that it shows you are a hard core democrat.
I am a conservative independent. I do slant to the right, but I call what is wrong with republicans as hard as I call what is wrong with dems. I have never been a party line voter, except in the last election, I could not find one democrat I could vote for.
You on the other hand would hate yourself if you had any of those characteristics you blindly attribute to republicans.
You hypocritical troll.

I VOTE FOR THE PERSON, NOT THE PARTY.
In the last election cycle, I voted for a democrat for House of Representatives and republican for Senate because they were the best people for the job.
While I am generally conservative, I am not a republican. I have never voted a straight party ticket in my life - my vote is not so cheap as to be blindly given to only one party. My vote needs to be earned.

I am proud of my faith. I am proud to be an American. I believe we are the richest, most powerful nation in the world for a reason and shouldn't have to apologize to anyone for it. I believe that a person's situation in life is predominantly controlled by their own choices. I believe that the constitution guarantees the right to pursue happiness. If you don't make it, that's your own problem - not the government's. I believe in low taxes and small government. I believe there is such a thing as right and wrong. Because I believe these things, I am proud to call myself a Republican.

I am a registered Republican. Although I do not vote straight down the line that way. I read up on the people. Check out their backgrounds and what they have voted for or against in the past. And then make my choices on who to vote for.
