I don't like remakes as a general principle, but one of the WORST I've seen so far is The Wicker Man. I love the original and the re-make is so bad, I found myself wishing the projector would catch on fire.

The Halloween remake sucks, but 2005's Charlie and the Chocolate factory was great, it stayed closer to the book.

I liked the remake of Psycho, because they kept it pretty much identical to the original. Otherwise, I don't like remakes.

charlie and the chocolate factory was the worst remake i've ever seen. there's just no improving on gene wilder. not only that, i like johnny depp but i don't like how he made willie wonka seem like a feminant pervert.

i dont know which one was the worst, but the old version of " where the red fern grows" sucked. the new version of "charlie and the chocolat factory" isnt bad. and the new version of "the chronicles of narnia, the lion, the, witch , and the wardrobe" has very interesting effects which makes it good.
