yes they will, i told mine that i had done Drugs, and she called my parents, :(

There is no way of knowing. How they interpret confidence would determine if they felt they could, but still gives you no clue if they would.
The question you need to consider is why you should tell a guidance councilor and if that person knows, maybe your parents should be informed too.
Now, I don't know the circumstances. I'm just suggesting you think it through.

I'm not sure, but you could always ask them what they are required to tell your parents, BY LAW. It also might be on the school website, or on a handout that you get at the beginning of the year. I know for sure that they are required to say something in cases of abuse and such... but I don't know about that.

unless you are a danger to yourself or others they cant they are also bound by HIPPA
