Last week, Bill O'Reilly dined with Al Sharpton at Sylvia's Restaurant in Harlem.

While he dined, he observed the demeanor of the patrons, who were predominantly African-Americans.

On his show, he said he had a great time & also stated what he observed on his show, as well.

"They (referring to African-Americans) were ordering their food & having fun."

He also said: He didn't hear anyone say: "I want more iced tea, Mother F-----r."

Where in the world does he live, or does he base the actions of African-Americans solely on the rap & hip-hop cultures.

It is unusal for any race of people to act foolishly in a public dining room, while others look on.

It is absolutely absurb for Mr. O'Reilly to even think while dining at Sylvia's or any other African-American establishment, he would literally have to run for his life, or experience foul-mouthed patrons frolicking & disrupting his dining experience.

To sum this up: African-Americans are people & not animals!!

Like i often tell people, thier is no such think as "good" white folk, just well behaved white folk. White people deep down have the same nature and will always show their true colors sooner or later. Whites love the culture of blacks and to some extent are jealous; this is why they make statements like this. White cant seem to figure out how we maange to live the way we do, have fun while doing it, while at the same time living in a country that does not have an equal or balanced justice system. White people just cant seem to figure us out. They wonder where we get our strength. They will never know.

Did you actualy listen to the interview???

I heard the show, it was with Juan Williams of NPR and they were talking about Juan's new book "Enough". They were discussing how rascism in America is unproductive and how we should all respect each other.

As an african-american woman I think you should do a little research before you open your mouth. We are not animals and Bill O'Reilly was doing a show to promote peace and harmony, and furthermore Juan Williams book is wonderful and he was on TV tonight saying that this is all ridiculous and that they both were trying TO HELP our african-american community!

You can look at it as racially offensive or look at it like Bill O'Reilly may have had this stereotypical image of African-Americans as seen in movies and other forms of entertainment.....To be honest he probably has never been around any normal African-Americans.....or he was just trying to make joke, which was a bad joke if I might add.

The 'remark' should not be performed by utilising itself yet in the context of the finished tale or fact the way it grow to be written & offered. that's the only thank you to truly & extremely decide it. yet having pronounced that the communities which could save the race card in play be responsive to that & have purposely used it the way they could only stir issues up & get themselves some press & air time.

They are good n*****s!"

That is what he said. The people eating at Sylvia's were the good ones.

Now he may not have ment to offend, but that does not count as not being offensive. This is how he thinks. If you disagree , dont watch the program. I dont.

i dont think it was insensitive it just proves how far apart blacks and whites really are that he was expecting to see or hear something different and he said there was no difference between us so i guess he had eye opening experience. leave it alone there are more important things out there stop being so damn pc. i thought we had thicker skin than that
