The jews that killed Christ, (or were responsible for his death rather) are long dead now. If you are a Christian you will understand that Jesus was born a jew and still considers them his chosen people. If Jesus can forgive a group of people for killing him, why the hell can't you? If you could trace your ancestry back, I am sure that you will find more than one occasion where an ancestor has killed another person in war or maybe even murder. Does this mean that the ancestors of the killed person should hold a grudge against your children because their great........grandfather killed their great......grandfather 2000 years ago? It doesn't make sense.
Arogance and other personality flaws are unfortunate flaws in humans. I am sure you have yours too. What a pitifully boring world this would be if we all thought alike.

Some Jews were forgiven in Jesus day for supporting the Jewish leaders in having Jesus killed. The focus of the Apostles initially was on the Jews, then later the Gentiles. Jesus Died laying the ground work for all to be forgiven.
Even the most Jewy of Jews.

Do you think Christians should be forgiven for destroying culture after culture after culture just to FORCE their beliefs onto unwilling people? Should they be forgiven for everything the "Church" has done such as murdering innocent millions during the Inquisition of 1232 authorized by Pope Gregory IX? Should Christians be forgiven for thinking they are better than everyone else? Should they be forgiven for raping little innocent boys?....hmmm, I cant remember the last time I heard about a Rabbi raping a child...or a Jewish community rising up and murdering their neighbors because they did not go to the same church and I sure do not remember the last time I saw a Jew standing on the street corner thumping the Torah. When was the last time a group of teenage Jews beat anyone to death because of their sexual preferences?

Being Jewish and Orthodox I can tell you that we do not think we are better than anyone else.
Why on earth would we????????
As for killing Jesus, Bible scriptures do not tell the truth...
So how do we know that the account of Jews killing Jesus is nonsense? Analyzing the Gospel account shows it for what it is. The so called trial given in the NT story is the completely opposite of the Jewish law
1) It takes place at night- all trials were held during the day
2) It takes place in a private home- all trials in Jerusalem were held in the court of the Sanhedrin in the Temple courtyard
3) There were very few people present - there have to be a minimum of 21 judges in a capital case- in Jerusalem the full Sanhedrin of 70 judges heard capital cases.
4) If a court cannot find a person guilty, they are forbidden to hand them over to secular authorities - the "court" in the NT does not find Jesus guilty, and then hands him over.
So four serious violations of the halacha (Jewish law)- which since they were in a capital case means the death sentence for those committing the violations- yet the NT keeps slandering the Pharisees and their strict adherence to the law!
On top of that- you have a big problem, a Roman governor who is later removed for excessive cruelty! (You gotta wonder- and this from a people that watched people fighting to death, getting eaten alive etc for fun!) And yet a conquered, powerless group of people is somehow meant to have the ability to get him to obey them?
What does make sense is if this whole ridiculous scenario is inserted in to remove the blame from the Romans when the early Christians were trying to convert them and needed a scapegoat! Who better than the people that had rejected their new God - to removes the blame from the people they are trying to convert while giving an excuse why the vast majority of them have rejected him!

What kind of Jews are you talking about? You can't seriously be judging an entire group by just the few that you think you know. Perhaps you are. Strange question deserves strange answer. Jews didn't kill Jesus...hello?

I don't know of ANY Jew alive today who killed Jesus. Nothing to forgive. There were a few who had a role in his death 2000 years ago. I think they were the exception rather than the rule.

I grew up in a predominantly orthodox Jewish area & in my experience they are generally very nice, quiet, caring, hard working people.Like all groups of people, there will be some who are not nice people but that's life-it has nothing to do with being Jewish.

I am so upset with people like you who bash the brothers and sisters of Christ! The Romans were the ones that actually killed Christ! If it were not for the Jewish people, we would not have had Christianity at ALL! The prophets were Jewish, the mother and earthly father of Christ were Jewish and Jesus came to earth Jewish and died a Jewish Rabbi! We gentiles should have deep love and appreciation for the people who gave us our Messiah! God still loves His people Israel and will always honor His covenant with them! Leave our Jewish folks ALONE!

Jesus said: "God forgive them, for they do not know what they do!"
And that not just to those against Jesus but to all men for their sins.
And that is the covenant.
Today there are bad Jews (The elite) and there are non Jews who are bad too (The elite).

you do realize that anyone who killed (or was tangentally involved in a killing of) anyone else 2,000 years ago is long dead, I hope.
If guilt is hereditary, then I gather you are a supporter of reparations to African Americans, then? As an Irish-American. then, I'll start collecting from Queen Lizzie, while we're at it. And then there's the Crusades... how much do we owe the Muslim world? Thanks for the brilliant insights, my friend.
