Actually, if you stop eating meat, that would do a lot more to protect the environment than getting every Hummer monster ego machine off the street. Stat courtesy of the United Nations.
And won't it take gas to get them back to their home countries? You can't exactly frogmarch them back on foot. I'd love to know how sending them back would conserve gas; it would just shift the waste elsewhere.

Talk to bush, he's the one who wants them here! The republicans have controlled every aspect of our WA government for 6 years, so why is this the liberals fault? The democrats have been in for 9 months, and not that they are any better on this issue, but if they were bush would block them anyway, so complain to bush!
