i have 4 rummy nose tetras they seem very happy but arent eating so far all ive had to feed them is guppy pellots but im also getting tropical fish flakes will they eat it?!?!

they won't eat the pellets, because they're not suppose to be in their diet
Also if you just got them, it's also normal that they won't eat to much or nothing, because any kinda fish you get sometimes takes up to 10 days to get used to their new environment
I would recommend that you get flakes and frozen food for them, like bloodworms or freeze dried food for them
But don't feed them just one food, try to change up their diet a bit

They dont just eat pellots, Give them Flake or Medicated fishfood. The rummy nosed tetra, Hemigrammus rhodostomus, is a species of tropical freshwater characin fish, popular among fishkeepers as an aquarium fish. one of many small tetras belonging to the same Genus, it is a 5 cm long fish when fully grown, and is a long established favourite among tropical fishkeepers.

they do not normally eat pellets as they are not in there diet, they should eat fish flakes and if they do not eat it go to your pet shop and they will have something for you. You could also try shrimp and blood worms. High quality foods such as shrimp and blood worms will ensure your fish look healthy and keep a bright colour. Good luck.

Rummy Noses will have no problem eating flake food. The mistake that most fish owners do is to get their fish adjusted to one specific type of food, and later the fishes will reject any other form of food except their favourite "brand".
