I love those folks who claim it's "entertainment".

It's not. It's propaganda, designed to engender fascistic beliefs amongst the right. And it has worked amazingly well.

I try and get my information from all kinds of media. As painful as it is, I will listen to Conservative Hate Radio. Their disdain for the truth is amazing. People on here have said that they are entertaining and some people have even said that they agree with the likes of Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck and others. The truth is, these people are a danger to America. This country has never, ever been this divided. It is divide in large part because of Hate radio.

As far as Rush, Hannity and O'Reilly go...to me, its straight up propaganda. As a matter of fact, I've tuned out all the major cable news channels in the US, as they are all waaaay too manipulated by the White House Press Corps. Traditionally, MSNBC is most liberal, CNN is moderate, FOXNews is obviously all right wing, all the time. But all three are crap...that's one of the biggest problems w/ America, in my opinion...our media. The public just isn't very well informed. Let me ask you: when was the last time you heard what was going on in Norway...or Switzerland, or Russia for that matter? We don't hear crap....believe me, stuff is going on in all those places (not to mention in EVERY country in the world each and every day.)
If you'd really like to get good news, you'll have to check out foreign news sources to get a view that's unbiased by the US gov't, but you'll have to discern that country's b.s. as well. I recommend the BBC at www.bbc.com or for an anti-US view of the world, check out www.themoscowtimes.com. (not that I'm anti-US, quite the contrary, but it is interesting to see how the other side of the world views us.) If you're on the internet, check out DrudgeReport.com (although this site does have a bit of a right wing balance, it is generally good journalism)

i'm confident that there would desire to be an e mail despatched out via somebody, no count number if it particularly is the Republican social gathering or another suitable wing corporation, for the reason which you're suitable. they oftentimes even use the comparable inflammatory words to describe issues. way too lots sameness to be circumstantial. besides, i think of a few of them extremely have self assurance those products and others are merely employing it to get rankings so as to fatten their pay exams. bear in suggestions they are all entertainers and that they stay or day on their rankings, the extra outrageous they are the extra beneficial the rankings. they are masters at mis counsel and distortion, yet hi, it extremely works for them, they are getting richer and richer.

I would call their shows propaganda.
The shows appeal to the average joe who cares little about politics but for some inexplicable reason after listening, hates liberals.
Listen to a show once and count how many times they say liberals.
Liberals are blamed for everything from the cost of operating a public school to the missing socks in your dryer.

So average joe votes for the conservative, not knowing he wants to cut your kids financial aid for college and give away your tax cut to the rich.

I go for what...

They have no clue of honest political info. They give their opinions and spin whatever happens to make the Republican politicians look good and the Democratic politicians look bad. The left wing radio stations do it as well, but the difference is they do not stereotype. They do not incorporate one Republican to ALL of them, as oppose to what hannity, limburger, coulter, and o'reilly do.

No. I make every effort to avoid right wing media, not easy to do. I feel I am constantly being brainwashed by the neo cons.
No I do not think they give honest political information.
The Internet blogs are the best place for honest news. I read the European newspapers on line, best source for the facts.

Rush is my obvious favorite, he is extremely entertaining but also makes very good points and I agree with him on many issues. I reccomend reading How Things Ought To Be, its a wonderful book.

I also listen to Bill O'Reilly who definately has his moments, but he provides information and entertainment as well. I agree with him more often than not.
