We have certain feelings at times which are hard to describe. Somehow, the word love is understood to mean what we are feeling, and even more astounding, is that others understand what we're feeling when we speak of "love."

No ideology is involved.

If you mean to ask is love an emotion or just an ideology, I would answer that it may be both which would depend on ones point of view at the moment "love" is being considered and under what circumstances.

Love does occur as an emotional response from a mild liking of someone or something to a passion of rather intense and often painful degree.

Is love able to be considered as the study of an ideal? Love can be studied both in ones self and in the actions/reactions of others who are then experiencing the same.

Is love an ideal in the Platonic understanding of the same as such? Yes, without a doubt as all things are truly an ideal with which we compare the reality of the same.

I hope that this was helpful.

Both. The feeling/emotion we identify as love is a complex set of synaptic responses that generally make us feel good. The bigger part of love is the ideology. We all look for that one in a million, only for you, soul mate.....that can't live without him one....the perfect match. Its an ideology that evolves from one generation to the next, and increases its mythic proportions with every commercial/book/poem/film etc that uses "love" as its basic ingredient. From time immemorial to today, man still searches for love......

I believe love is neither, or both, perhaps love has a category to it's own, or with hate, as they are each the building blocks of human. Love is something that consumes us, dwells within us, yet hate is the same thing. Love and hate seem to be opposites, but they are rather similar. I suppose I didn't answer your question, however i do hope you think about what I have said.

I think its an emotion. You feel love. No one can really explain it, because it is different for everyone. One person my think its just an attraction, while others may think its being able to tell someone anything, and always being their for someone. Its how you feel about someone, and how you jjust feel . Its an emothion .
