Not only was Reagan a great actor and president. He was also an awesome and popular two-term governor of California.
Thompson is a GREAT actor, and a one-term senator.
He would make a MYSTERY president. Other possible words: AMBIGUOUS? UNDETERMINED? Just do not know how he and Congress would work together at this point. . .

As actors go, he's a typecasted actor.
As a Presidential Candidate, he would make a lazy President.
Fred Thompson is no Ronald Reagan.

He replaced into the large Communicator. He had the flexibility to pass on television and agree or disagree, you knew the place he stood. yet to be honest, Reagan did no longer have the 24 hour information channels, and we did no longer have 2 hundred channels to alter to while Reagan referred to as a press convention. We quite lots had 3 channels returned then, some human beings had cable, that they had per danger 30. while Reagan talked to the clicking, all of us listened. Now days a brilliant form of the President's speaches are not even televised, we purely get sound bites.

The kindest thing I can say about Reagan is that, as a President, he was a good actor. I'd expect about the same from Thompson, but maybe with a little less senility.

A great actor could also be a good President like Ronald Reagan.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.
