in Wisconsin ive noticed that a lot of people (including myself) measure distance in terms of how long it takes to get from one place to another....like, for example...if you were to ask me "how far away is the nearest mall to your house" id tell you "15 minutes" because thats how long it takes me to drive there. i know plenty of other people in my town and others in Wisconsin that do this...but if i talk to someone from outside Wisconsin, they get all confused when i say stuff in terms of how long it takes me to get there rather than miles or something...so is this strictly a Wisconsin thing, or do you know anyone who does this to?

good to hear other people do it too...cause i have reletives in illinois and i tell them it takes me 15 minutes to get somewhere, they look at me funny and then say "well how many miles is that?" and i have no idea...
