I have one of those back flush kits. It tells me to put it in the inlet hose. There is a hose on top and bottom of the radiator. Which hose is it?

The tee goes in one of your heater core hoses that go from the engine to the firewall connections of the heater core---usually, it's a 5/8 inch tee and you need to connect it to a 5/8 inch hose.

It goes in one of the heater hoses, but dont cut the hose and leave the tee installed. Buy a short, 12" piece of hose the same size as the heater hose and remove the heater hose intact from the engine connection. Install the tee in one end and the short hose in the other and to the engine and proceed to flush. When finished, remove tee and short hose and put heater hose back. This will prevent future leaks from the tee connection and cap>

I totally agree with RonB. I have cut the heater hose before and installed them and later had a problem with the cap leaking over the hose connection fitting.

Good luck with the job.
