A lot of Democrats consider this to be the Dream Team, and they may well be right. I'm surprised at those who think it's a prerequisite for the VP to be someone that the President elect likes or gets along with well. That is not really much of a consideration. It's based on who will add to the strength of the ticket, not whether the candidates like each other or not.
We have had many Presidents and VPs who simply couldn't stand each other (Kennedy and Johnson for example), but they work together for the good of the party whether they like each other or not when it comes to campaigning.
It would be a hard ticket to beat, at least with the current Republican field being so weak and flawed. Even a candidate who met all the conservative standards would have a hard time against them - Thompson for instance. The liberals and Independents who don't like Hillary and favor Obama will fall in line under that ticket, and they would likely be a formidable team. They may not like each much right now, but their goals are basically the same and they would find a way to work together effectively.

Team up? No. But they are going to be the two who stick it out all the way until election day. Basically the 2008 Election is going to be Clinton VS. Obama. It's going to be a close race too because you have your first minority candidate against your first female candidate. But in my opinion Hilary is going to win because she has the government experience to be president and she's a great senator for New York. Barack still seems slightly amateur to be running for president no one really heard of him until he decided to run. He needs a few more years of political experience before he will make a good president. There is no doubt in my mind that this race will be a close one though.

No they would be the worst think that could happen. Obama has shown he knows nothing about international affairs. He is just a good talker with no real experience. Your local dog catcher if he speaks will could do as well as him.
Hillary is a corrupt, lying *****. She tried to make Military officers in the white house wear civilian clothes and serve drinks like they were waiters, because she doesn't like the military. Do we want a Commander in Chief like that. She had pornographic ornaments sent to her at Xmas from art students, to hang on one of the many trees while she was first lady. She did, and was reported laughing about it.from a FBI agent assign to the White House. She and Bill stole many items from the house when they left. Vince Foster was said by many to be her lover and was found dead in Fort Marcy Park, DC. Said to be a suicide, but do you eat a full meal shortly before you put a gun to your head. He also had carpet fibers all over his clothes as if he were wrapped up and dumped in the park. The whole affair was covered up. I don't have to tell you how corrupt Bill is. Do we really need these people in charge of us?

I would be fine if they ran as a team, but a lot of people don't like Hilary. I would rather vote for her if she were the Democratic candidate than vote for a Republican. If it comes down to her being the presidential nominee, I hope liberals vote for her even if they don't like her because I would HATE to see another potential 8 years with a Republican in office installing conservatives to the Supreme Court. I hope none of them die/get ill/steps down before Inauguration Day.
I would like to see Obama get the nomination, but I don't know how that will work out.
Either way, I'm voting for a Democrat.
