Yes.

I was also mad when they remodeled the Stadium a few years ago, that took away the historical value.

To me when you tear down the Stadium you're killing legends like Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford, Phil Rizzuto, ETC...

ive taken a tour of yankee stadium and it truly is a spectacular place. i'm not too excited about the demolition of it. monument park will never be able to be replicated, and all of the history in the great park is unmatched. sure the new stadiums look pretty and fashionable and all, but i prefer the old school fields that have been around for a while.

It was bound to happen. New stadium means more revenue for the team. Don't be surprised if the Cubs and Red Sox get new stadiums in the next 5-10 years.

I am a little sad, but we shouldn't live in the past. I 'd rather go to a newer and nicer facility, which the New Yankees stadium promises to be.
Life is about changes and new things.

I do hope they have better parking. I am sick of LIRR.

All good things must come to an end. It is all about money and the Yankees organizations needs a new ballpark to generate revenue.

As a baseball fan, I think it's a shame. It probably just has to do with money. I've never been there, but I heard no matter what team you root for (me, it's the Red Sox) you should check it out. Now I guess I never will

Not mad but a little disappointed and sad that they couldn't retro fit it for their needs. Its a shame that we tear things down when it doesn't fit our needs any longer. Oh well.
