I haven't read the book but its reviews show that his past came back to haunt him. He tried to rise above his past as we all often do. If we cannot forgive ourselves, guilt will eat away at our very beings.

Try reading a little of each chapter and as you read, check for quotes that you can write from the book. This book review is due tomorrow right? Shame on you! The next thing that you learn better be to speed read.
