well if u wanna know where this quote came from, in my senior year of high we had this dude that worshiped the devil and with pride too, so thats who made the quote
i would never make up a quote like this.

well.... if the assumption ('if every sin is created equal') had any validity, then killing would be just as bad as any other sin. it would depend on your frame of mind - they would all really be that bad - or all however bad you thought committing a sin was.
But - (in my opinion) that assumption (every sin is created equal) is not true!!! (or is that from the bible or something? I am not religious, so perhaps that is coming from a particular religion's beliefs; sorry, I wouldn't know anything about that) therefore, yes, killing really can be that bad!
(& the reason I say 'can be' that bad as opposed to 'is' that bad is b/c there are times when I think it isn't a sin - e.g. putting a very sick animal that is in a lot of pain to death. a very hard thing to do, but not necessarily a sin or bad thing)

I think the guy that was in high school with you needs help.
Killing someone is something that you can't take back. If you lie you can always go back and tell the truth to the person that you lied to, But you can't bring a person back to life.

The punishment for all sin is not the same. Read the book of Leviticus in the Bible.
